A vibrant hub for creativity, Raph James Gallery & Creative Hub is designed to inspire and support artistic exploration. This dynamic space has intent to host exhibitions, pop-ups, and group workshops, welcoming artists and visionaries to connect, create, and grow.

Founded by Raph James, a Naarm (Melbourne)-based trans artist of New Zealand Polynesian heritage, the gallery reflects her bold and evocative approach to linear abstraction. James’ work—defined by precise lines and striking colour compositions—blends simplicity with depth, inviting contemplation and emotional resonance.

More than a gallery, this space is a testament to the power of art to transcend boundaries, spark imagination, and foster creative community. Whether exhibiting, collaborating, or learning, Raph James Gallery & Creative Hub is where artistry is designed to thrive.

GALLERY & CREATIVE hub

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live, work, and create: Narrm (Melbourne), the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Peoples of the Kulin Nation. I am grateful for their warm welcome and for allowing myself a home on this beautiful Country. I express my solidarity and respect for their Elders, both past and present, as well as for their descendants. Sovereignty has never been ceded
